#GenerationEquality Illustration Competition

I was selected as a semi-finalist in the Generation Equality Illustration Competition hosted by UN Women (The United Nations Entity for Gender Equality and the Empowerment of Women)!! It seems that I have chosen from more than 1,200 people from all over the world. (I’m the only Japanese person!)

My illustration will be exhibited in Brussels and other countries around the world. Also, please check my profile in English, French and Spanish on the UN Women's official page!

国連　女性事務局主催イラストコンテスト

セミファイナリスト選出

2021年6月28日、UN Women(国連 女性事務局)主催のイラストコンテスト”Generation Equality: Picture It”にて、セミファイナリストに選出されました。同賞には120カ国から1200人以上が応募し、上位13人が公式ページに掲載されます。今回金賞に輝いたのはカメルーンのBrice Tadé Tangou氏。その他にもハンガリーやコンゴ共和国などの国が並び、浅川は選出者の中で唯一の日本人でした。

今回描いたイラストはパリで行われるUN Womenの Generation Equality Forum期間中にバーチャル展示をしていただけるほか、ベルギーのブリュッセルやニューヨークなど、世界各地で開かれる展示会の中で展示していただけるそうです。
